Newcastle United’s transfer aspirations received a significant boost on Tuesday when the English Premier League teams decided to outlaw cross-party loans.
However, a measure that would have prohibited related-party loans between two clubs controlled by the same corporations was apparently not approved by the EPL vote.
This implies that Newcastle and other clubs, such as Crystal Palace with Lyon and similar circumstances, are still able to loan players from Saudi Arabian clubs owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The poll was put up in response to worries expressed regarding Ruben Neves, a midfield player for Al-Hilal and Newcastle.
The Daily Mail reports that the vote narrowly failed to succeed because a club needs 14 votes to modify a rule. Thirteen clubs voted in favor of the proposition, with seven voting against. The resolution was unable to be implemented as a result.
